Gary Stein

Gary Stein is senior vice president of investor relations for the NYSE Group, Inc., a position he has held since its creation in early 2006. Mr. Stein is responsible for managing relationships and communication with shareholders and the investment community for the NYSE Group, Inc., and reports directly to the chief financial officer. Formerly, he was vice president of business development where he was responsible for business analysis relating to the corporate-finance and strategic growth objectives of the NYSE. Prior to joining the NYSE Group, Mr. Stein was an executive director at Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI). He also has been with efinanceworks; Morgan Stanley Venture Partners; and Apax Partners, formerly known as Patricof & Co. Ventures. Mr. Stein received a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
