James Quinn is senior vice president of sales and marketing for Fidelity Charitable Services (FCS), a leading provider of administrative and other services to charitable organizations such as private foundations and the Fidelity Charitable Gift FundSM (Gift Fund), a donor-advised fund and one of the nation's leading independent public charities. He oversees the firm's sales and marketing divisions and is charged with enhancing the visibility and fundraising efforts of the Gift Fund and promoting the Fidelity Private Foundation Servicesbrand. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2004, Mr. Quinn spent 13 years at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., with Schwab Institutional, serving the needs of registered investment advisors. During his tenure, advisor-related business at Schwab grew from $3 billion to $300 billion in custody with advisors seeking to grow their practices. Mr. Quinn held multiple business development and sales management positions, most recently as the western United States division manager. He began his career in the financial services industry as a wholesaler with Realty Income Corp., in 1986. Mr. Quinn received a BA in history from the University of California, Berkeley, is a Certified Financial Planner, and holds Series 7, 8, and 63 licenses.
