As the director of equity strategy in the Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) Institutional Equities Division, Andrew Burkly is responsible for the Portfolio Strategy Product in which he and his team make sector and industry recommendations with high risk-adjusted return. Mr. Burkly also focuses on BBHs proprietary business cycle work based on the relationship between financial liquidity, economic trends, and forward implications for interest rates and stock prices. He joined BBH in 1997, initially in the investment management division working as a portfolio manager. Mr. Burkly is a regular guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV, as well as being quoted in the Wall Street Journal and various other financial publications. In this highly visible role, he acts as the external spokesperson for the firms investment outlook. Mr. Burkly is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Market Technician, a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and a member of the Market Technicians Association. In addition, he received an MBA in finance from the Lowry Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University.
