James Nelson

James Nelson is the chief executive office for Global Net Lease (NYSE:GNL). He has been CEO since July of 2017, and, since March 2017, as a director of GNL. Mr. Nelson previously served as a member of GNL's audit committee from March 2017 until July 2017. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Xerox, and as an independent director and chair of the audit committee for Chewy, Inc. Mr. Nelson served as lead director and audit committee member of Herbalife Nutrition Ltd., director and member of the audit committee of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and previously a board and audit committee member of Icahn Enterprises. He has also served as a director for several other companies including Cequel Communications, Take Two Interactive Software, Tropicana Entertainment Inc., and American Entertainment Properties Corp. Mr. Nelson previously served as CEO of Orbitex Management, and Eaglescliff Corporation.
