Howard Harlan

Howard Harlan is the vice president of business development for Vista Gold Corp. He first joined Vista Gold Corp., in 1996 as manager of corporate development. After a brief hiatus in the aggregate industry, Mr. Harlan rejoined the company in 2003 and was promoted to his present position in November 2004. He has more than 35 years of experience in exploration, development, operations, project evaluation, and mergers and acquisitions in a variety of metals and industrial minerals in the Americas and Europe. Mr. Harlan holds both a BS and an MS in geology from the University of Arizona and is a Registered Geologist and Certified Professional Geologist.
