- Raised $100 Million for the Moss Gold-silver Mine
Ken Berry is the chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Northern Vertex Mining. Since his time with the company, Mr. Berry has played an instrumental role in raising more than $100 million to advance the Moss Mine Gold-Silver project in Western Arizona from exploration stage to commercial construction.
Northern Vertex Mining Corp., (TSX.V: NEE) (OTC Nasdaq Intl.: NHVCF) owns and operates the Moss Mine, the largest primary gold and silver mine in Arizona. The Company is just coming off its most recent quarter achieving its fourth consecutive quarter of record gold production of 14,673 gold equivalent ounces, an increase of approximately 29% over the previous quarter. While driving production up, Northern Vertex has driven costs down at the Moss Mine and will continue to pursue this strategy with several initiatives underway to improve efficiencies and decrease costs. In addition, the Company is conducting an extensive drill campaign at the Moss Mine to expand the resource and increase the life of the mine. Recent drill results are highlighted by 15.2 meters of 9.11 gpt gold and 85.99 gpt silver, located only 100 meters from the current open pit.
Northern Vertex, the largest pure gold and silver producer in Arizona, is focused on low cost production at its 100% owned Moss Mine. The Company is recently coming off its best month to date where the Moss Mine delivered record production of 4,713 gold equivalent ounces resulting in higher revenues. Management expects these improvements to continue as a number of initiatives are underway to improve efficiencies and decrease costs. In addition, an extensive drilling campaign is presently being carried out to expand the resource and increase the life of mine. Recent drill results include an exciting high-grade intercept of 15.2 meters of 9.11 gpt gold and 85.99 gpt silver, located only 100 meters from the current open pit.
