About Lorraine
Lorraine Tan is director of equity research, Asia, for Morningstar Research Pte. Ltd. Previously, she served as vice president of S&P Capital IQ, where she also covered the energy sector as chief market strategist. Prior to joining Standard & Poor's in 2000, Ms. Tan worked for eight years as an equity analyst and research manager in Kuala Lumpur. She also worked in corporate finance and banking for three years. Ms. Tan is a CFA charterholder, was educated in the US and England, and has a BS in economics from the London School of Economics and political science.
