Mike Larson serves as vice president and editor-in-chief at MoneyShow, overseeing all aspects of its investor education efforts and conferences and planning the firm's content operations. Before joining MoneyShow, he was a senior editor and analyst at Weiss Ratings. Mr. Larson produced the company's Safe Money Report, Weekend Windfalls, and Heat Maps newsletters, while also writing, editing, and trading several other past products. His areas of expertise as an analyst include domestic and global interest rates, commercial and residential real estate, and central bank policy.

Stocks rallied broadly yesterday, though they’re mixed in the early going today. Gold and silver are modestly weaker again along with crude oil. Treasury prices are falling, while the greenback is up a bit.
Stocks regained some ground yesterday, and they’re trying to gain a bit more this morning. Meanwhile, gold and silver are selling off further along with crude oil. Treasuries and the dollar are down a bit, too.
Stocks have been on different trajectories lately, with industrials, miners, and financials holding up fairly well even as tech and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) have gotten whacked. This morning, most equities are bouncing back, though, while gold and silver are pulling back notably. Crude oil is slipping along with Treasuries, while the dollar is modestly higher.
