Stephen Painter

R. Stephen Painter, Jr. is a chief trial attorney with the CFTC's Division of Enforcement in New York City, where he has worked on a number of significant cases, including noteworthy spoofing, benchmark, and manipulation cases. Prior to joining the Division of Enforcement, Mr. Painter was special counsel with the CFTC's Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight.
