Jason Roney is the founder and portfolio manager of Bluegrass Capital Management, an investment firm that specializes in global futures markets. He is a discretionary trader that combines global macro investing with short-term trading strategies. His unique ability to define market regimes and mitigate trade risk has generated superior risk adjusted returns for more than 20 years. Bluegrass Capital was founded in 2014 and today manages more than 200MM in national assets. Mr. Roney began his trading career in 1997 as a proprietary trader for Gelber Group in Chicago. From 1999 to 2011, he was trader and vice president of Sharmac Capital Management. He is also featured in a recent publication, The Global Macro Edge.
