Stocks continue to enjoy the post-election trek to new highs, and the market action in February made that eminently clear. And though stocks largely stalled in March, the broader trend in equities both home and abroad continues to be higher.

That’s been very good for the Growth Portfolio, as all our holdings are solidly in the black (as of the March 14 close).

Our most profitable current position is one that basically bets on stocks across the board, and it’s the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI). We’ve held this winner since last year’s buy signal. With an unrealized gain of nearly 19%, there is no reason to do anything here but continue winning.

The same holds true for our most recent holdings, including the Vanguard FTSE Europe ETF (VGK) and Vanguard FTSE Pacific ETF (VPL). Each of these funds continues to push higher.
