It’s no secret silver has been beaten down lately, hovering in the $49 range. But if you find that discouraging, I’d suggest that you’re looking at it from the wrong angle. I’ve been a buyer of both silver and silver stocks recently, and I plan to keep buying, advises Peter Krauth, editor of Silver Stock Investor.

Silver has given back $60 since peaking at $121 in January. While many are panicking because they bought at much higher prices, I am rubbing my hands in response to this attractive opportunity.

Back in late 2025 and earlier this year, I remember saying to some industry professionals that it was a lot tougher to be a contrarian, as everything had gotten expensive. In fact, it was a bit discouraging because there was little to buy at an attractive price.

Today, there are bargains nearly everywhere. But they will not last. And that’s why my presentation at our inaugural Gold Advisor Network Summit in Vancouver was titled: Your Silver Second Chance.

I don’t know when silver and silver stocks will resume their climb higher. But it can happen at any time, and I do think that we are at or close to capitulation point. I believe most of the weak hands have likely sold by now for lack of conviction.

That’s our secret weapon: conviction when others are panicking. That’s why I am buying.

After silver ran up to $121, I remember many investors saying it was too late. Well, silver miners are cheap once again, trading below 1x price-to-net asset value. That’s the lowest they’ve been in nearly a decade.

This is “Your Silver Second Chance.” It’s time to be a contrarian.
