Alan M. Newman, editor of Crosscurrents, was born on June 24, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. He has been married for 41 years and has two boys, both Eagle Scouts. Mr. Newman has formerly enjoyed careers in acting, computer programming, game design, and real estate and currently resides in Nassau County, NY.
