With more than 13 years of experience in managing investments for high-net-worth and large institutional clients, Glenn Guard has succeeded in many roles across the financial industry. His career started at the global investment firm Legg Mason as a stock analyst. During Mr. Guards career, he easily moved into and excelled in roles such as the director of research and as portfolio manager at a $1.3 billion investment firm. Through his diverse client experience, Mr. Guard has refined his expertise in evaluating investments across asset classes and managing allocations for a variety of account sizes. Additionally, he is a recognized contributor to the investment media and has been highly sought after for his proficient knowledge on investment issues. Over the years, Mr. Guard has regularly appeared on CNBC and CNN and has been widely quoted in well-known publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, BusinessWeek, and the New York Times. Having earned the distinguished Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, he has achieved the industry's most respected designation for investment management professionals. Mr. Guard also currently holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 licenses. He received a BSBA in international finance from American University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
