Charles E. Githler is the owner of the Financial Forums--Canada's largest and oldest investment conference series. Mr. Githler is chairman emeritus of MoneyShow and played a key role in the evolution of the individual investor. In 1978, shortly after discount brokerage and before Money magazine and almost all financial and business television as we know it today, he started producing investor gatherings--with encouraging early success attracting important recognition and support. Mr. Githler's passion is free-market economics and business development. He writes feature commentaries for the company's multimedia online community, MoneyShow.com, which along with the recently launched interactive eShows, provides investment and trading content to major financial Web sites. MoneyShow educates millions of investors, traders, and financial advisors annually on how to Invest Smarter, Trade Wiser. Feature stories about Charles Githler's early conferences began in Time magazine, BusinessWeek, Forbes, and Barron's. Today's MoneyShow and its branded events have been featured in leading financial media such as Money magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Investor's Business Daily, the New York Times, the Boston Globe, BusinessWeek, CNBC, Forbes, The Financial Times, 21st Century Business Herald, Shanghai Security News, Far Eastern Economic Review, Hong Kong Economic Times, Nikkei, Bloomberg, Asia Money, and the Wall Street Journal Asia. Mr. Githler was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, and has lived in Sarasota, Florida, since 1974.
